Growing NAPL Energy Program Powers Savings

(July 11, 2013)―In just its first year, the Energy Assistance Program from the National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) is garnering praise from a growing number of graphic communications company executives who are enjoying significant savings in their energy costs by utilizing the NAPL/NAQP Member Advantage Discount Program. “NAPL is not an energy supplier so it is an unbiased source that members can trust,” he explains. “We start by evaluating a company’s current energy needs, suppliers, and costs. Then we work with a major energy broker, Unified Energy (www.unifiedenergy.com) of Houston, Texas, which reviews offerings from more than five dozen international energy suppliers to find the most attractive deal―even if it is with the company’s current supplier. Finally, we help negotiate the best possible terms for the member so he can lock in a great rate.
